John Gordon Ingoldsby (June 21, 1924 - August 10, 1982) was a professional ice hockey player. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Ingoldsby (aka 'Ding' and 'Jack') played the position of right wing for teams in the NHL, AHL, OHA-B, TIHL, TNDHL, OHA-SR, IHL, EHL, Al-Cup, and the EAL hockey leagues. Ingoldsby was 188 cm (6'2") tall and weighed 95 kg (210 lbs). He played for the following teams: * Toronto De La Salle from 1941 to 1942 * Toronto National Steel Car from 1941 to 1942 * Toronto Maple Leafs from 1943 to 1944 * Toronto CIL from 1943 to 1944 * Toronto Army Daggers from 1943 to 1944 * Toronto Staffords from 1945 to 1946 * Toronto Maher Jewels from 1945 to 1946 * Owen Sound Mercurys from 1947 to 1951 * New Haven Nutmegs from 1952 to 1953 * Marion Barons from 1953 to 1954 * Grand Rapids Rockets from 1954 to 1956 * Huntington Hornets from 1956 to 1957 * New Haven Blades from 1957 to 1959 * New Haven/Charlotte from 1959 to 1960 In 1951, Ingoldsby won the Allan Cup with the Owen Sound Mercurys.
